I
sincerely want to thank all of you that made the First Annual
New York Vintage & Custom Drum Show a tremendous success
on its maiden voyage. You all made the show a huge success,
I could not have done it without you.
What was most wonderful was the positive response and happy
faces all around and I genuinely felt that all, including
the attendees, really meant it. I never felt so humbled
in my life as to how this experience affected me and the
warmth and love and support that was overwhelmingly present
throughout the entire show from start to finish.
I
would like to extend my appreciation to Classic Drummer
Magazine, EVANS Drum Heads, Modern Drummer Magazine and
Brite Stuff for their gracious gifts that made the raffle
drawings an exciting event in itself.
And
to the vendors and exhibitors, that without their support
this would not have been possible. This was really your
show and I was cheering you on for your success and dedication
to the drum community. Thanks to Frondelli Drums, MRPDrums,
Vaughncraft Percussion, RadioMan Bill Jarres, 3PLYGUY -
Paul Librizzi, Bill Ferrato, Carol Groark, John Griffin
and John Sheridan. Again, a huge thanks to you all - as
we had over 200 attendees!
To
Larry Levine who ceremoniously helped with awarding Classic
Drummer Magazine subscriptions. He reassured me that the
show was off to a great start and to continue with what
will now be an annual event.
Finally,
to my Drumforum.org friends Steve Balsavage, Frankie A,
Vinny, Lucio and Rosanna, Alan, Frank and Sal, Bob Cianci,
Sonorholic...and if I forgot anyone please forgive me. There
are no words to describe how I felt inside when I saw your
faces! I know we will always be friends for life and be
connected to this thing of ours.
Sincerely,
Mario
